The mission of AZANA is to create a strong, vibrant, and united family of Zambian Adventists in North America, and to provide leadership to facilitate spiritual growth and enrichment among diaspora members. Additionally, AZANA will form partnerships with the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Zambia, as well as other charitable and non-profit organizations by sourcing financial and technical support for projects geared toward the development of quality life improvement of the Zambian people.
Who we are – our cause
AZANA is a Not for Profit organization registered in Oklahoma. Our mission is uniting and empowering Zambian Adventists in North America for Christian fellowship and service.
Values – Our conviction
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.” – Ephesians 2:8-9
“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” – 1 John 1:7
“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” – Philippians 2:12
“… there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.” – Colossians 3:11
“Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ – Matthew 18:33
“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” – Hebrews 12:1-2
The first AZANA camp meeting generated an increase in member’s interest around various states and since then, the organization has been building on the momentum to organize and establish chapters.
